Provided auto-installation design through the use of Option 82 for over 6,500 Cisco 3560s to service In-Room devices: phones, IPTV, Control4, and many others.  Redesigned the MGM Mirage Corporate Network to accommodate the largest deployment of over 1000 Juniper EX4200s, while scripting the install of each device.  Lead a team of 3 Network Engineers to analyze blueprints, bill of materials, and requirements for the 8 billion dollar CityCenter property.

Designed and configured a robust 802.1x In-Room switch deployment to automate device type (phone, set-top-box, etc) to VLAN assignment while protecting the Guest Network from attackers within the room.  Designed and configured the MPLS VPLS domains for Internet users, which provided layer 2 access across a layer 3 OSPF network. 

 

Designed and configured the new and improved MGM Mirage Corporate Network utilizing OSPF to the closet and switch stacking technology.  Designed and configured an automated edge VoIP deployment utilizing LLDP and Voice VLANS. Automated the configuration of over 1000 Corporate Access Switches through the use of HTML and JavaScript.  This automation ensures consistency in deployment and efficient use of engineer’s time. 

 

Designed and configured an improved/centralized access method for all network equipment for MGM Mirage with Steel Belted Radius.  Designed intricate excel spreadsheets to track all aspects of the CityCenter project.

 

ATM Network Engineer (SAIC Las Vegas, Nevada)                                          April 2007 – October 2007

Provide onsite and on-call technical support of the Predator Operations in Las Vegas.  Respond to network ATM failures and reroute/repair failed circuits to ensure 24/7 operational flying time.
